Bobbe Lowe, Minnesota
SR, 125, Oak Grove, Mo./Oak Grove

Lowe earned Big Ten Wrestler of the Week after winning his third title in as many weeks as he claimed the 125-pound championship at the 29th annual Mat Town USA Invitational in Lock Haven, Pa., last Saturday.  His finish helped Minnesota claim the team title with 154 points, just ahead of Penn State in second at 146.5.  Lowe won four matches, including a pair over higher-ranked opponents.  In the semifinals, he defeated No. 7 Mark McKnight of Buffalo, 7-4, and then ousted No. 6 Joe Dubuque of Indiana, 4-2, in the finals.

This is the first career Wrestler of the Week honor for the 2003 All-American.  Lowe is now 13-0 after winning titles at the Bison Open, Kaufman-Brand Open and the Mat Town USA Invitational.
