Jefferson sparked IU's fourth-straight conquest of the Indiana Intercollegiates by capturing the individual crown with a 8K time of 25:39.

Last year, Jefferson earned All-America honors after placing 19th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships with a time of 29:57.7, and was the NCAA Indoor Champion in the mile.
