Strom turned in two impressive performances last weekend as she led the Lady Lions to a pair of Conference road wins. Last Thursday, the senior guard had a career game against Iowa, recording a career-high 29 points in Penn State's 77-71 win over the nation's last unbeaten team. Strom also recorded a career best-tying five three-pointers in the win over the Hawkeyes. She went 8-of-9 from the free throw line, and hit several down the stretch to seal the game. In the Lady Lions' 67-58 win at Wisconsin on Saturday, Strom led PSU again in scoring, draining 16 points. Her League-best free throw shooting (.918) was put to the test again as Wisconsin staged a late-game rally that Strom ended with her perfect 6-of-6 free throw shooting.

In all, Strom averaged 22.5 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals, finished 14-of-15 (.933) from the free throw line and 7-of-14 from beyond the arc.

This is Strom's first career Big Ten Player of the Week award and is the first Lady Lion to earn the honor since Kelly Mazzante on March 1, 2004.
