Minnesota's Petsinger Named Women's Golfer of the Week

Complete Release in PDF Format Terra Petsinger, Minnesota Despite playing just 18 holes at the rain-shortened NIU Snowbird Intercollegiate last week, Petsinger carded a 75 to tie two other competitors for medalist honors. The Minnesota senior's round of 3-over-par helped the Golden Gophers to a second-place finish at 309, just four strokes shy of Yale. This is Petsinger's first Golfer of the Week selection of her career. She is the first Golden Gopher to be honored with the weekly accolade since Katie Bakken claimed the award on March 22, 2000.
